Hayflower & Quiltshoe
by Kaisa Rastimo
Hayflower and Quiltshoe are best friends and spend all their time together. A change is about to happen: In a week, Hayflower is going to start school. There are big things going on inside both of the girls minds.
Who is going to do the household chores in the family when mothers little helper Hayflower wont be there? Who is going to clean and do the dishes? Who is going to play with Quiltshoe? Their domestically challenged mother is doing her best but household chores are not really her area of speciality.
Their father, a scientist, on the other hand, is only interested in the potato, his life-long object of study. In order to be able to concentrate on school without worries on her mind, Hayflower feels she has to put family matters in order first. Hayflower gets busy and family affairs get even more tangled.
When the parents and the police cannot help them and neither is the Heavenly Father offering his intervention, nothing can change for the better. There is only one thing that can. Hayflower herself has to change!
